Three deployments were made at over 20 point locations along roadsides that run through the Connondale National Park. Recordings are primarily nocturnal often inclusive of dawn and dusk. Some locations were outside the park boundary, but adjacent. Along the northern transect all locations were ~2+km apart. Locations were selected based on distance traveled along the road once the oodometer hit 2km if it was safe to deploy, a sensor was deployed, if it was not safe, the location was adjusted to the nearest safest location usually a bit further down the road. We had a few more sensors after completing the northern deployment, and opted to spread out deployments more along the southern transect with the remaining sensors. In 2022 we had a few more sensors, and opportunistically added those in the northern section near where observers had recorded Powerful Owl, and in southern location between existing locations.
