Eucalypt open-forest (RE 12.9–10.2)

The recordings were collected from 18 sites across two reserves west of Ipswich, southeast Queensland, with 12 sites in Hidden Vale and six in Mt Grandchester. The dataset comprised continuous 24-hour recordings collected over 30-day periods during five deployment rounds conducted between April 2023 and May 2024.

We used autonomous recording units manufactured by Frontier Labs (model BAR-LT), equipped with standard omnidirectional microphones (±2 dB from 80 Hz to 20 kHz). The microphones were set to 40 dB gain, and audio files were saved in WAV format at 44.1 kHz (mono, 16-bit). These datasets were uploaded directly from the SD cards in their original form.
